PORTFOLIO

For Couples Who Value Beauty in the Details

Your wedding cake should feel like it belongs at your celebration, not like something added on at the end.

It is absolutely fine if you are not entirely sure what your wedding cake should look like. That is the beauty of a bespoke wedding cake.

It should feel like a reflection of you both and the love you share - and we won’t always know what that looks like until we talk through it together.

At your design consultation, we explore your likes and dislikes, the styles you’re drawn to, and the wider details of your wedding. These include your outfits, stationery, venue, and floral palette.

There are no strict rules - just a collaborative design process guided by your wedding.

The style of cake you will find in the portfolio below is classic, elegant and romantic with a vintage influence.

If this speaks to you, you’re in the right place.

If there is a design you love, it can be adapted to suit your wedding so it feels completely your own.

As you browse, just imagine that in a few months, you will be looking back at your own cake - designed together for your day.

The cakes below are grouped by design experience, so you can see how each level of collaboration influences the final result.

MINI DESSERTS

Mini desserts designed to complement your wedding cake and bring your cake table to life.

Cupcakes topped with fondant sugar work, cakesicles highlighted with edible gold, and personalised cookies are just a few ways to elevate your display.

Picture it now…

Your main cake standing at the centre, surrounded by beautifully styled desserts, soft florals and considered details that tie everything together.

This becomes more than a cake table - it becomes part of your styling.

THE FLAVOUR COLLECTION

You don’t need to settle on just one cake flavour!

Each tier of your cake can feature a different flavour at no additional cost.

Whether you prefer timeless classics or want to try something a little different, I’ll help you choose combinations that feel right for your wedding.

Many of the flavours I offer have been refined through real weddings - chosen and loved by couples over time.

Classic Flavours

  • Classic Vanilla

  • Zesty Lemon

  • Chocolate Fudge

Signature Flavours

  • Salted Caramel Chocolate Fudge

  • White Chocolate & Raspberry

You can also customise your combinations. For example, Zesty Lemon can be paired with:

  • Lemon curd for a fresh, citrusy burst

  • Blueberry buttercream for a soft, summery balance

  • Raspberry conserve for a vibrant, slightly tart contrast

Each combination creates a slightly different experience, and I’ll help guide you through what works best.

On the day the cake looked incredible, it was beautifully moist & had delicious flavours of chocolate and vanilla. We had lots of compliments about it afterwards.

Portion Guide

How much cake you need for your wedding depends much on how you will serve it. A standard portion size is 1” x 1” x 5'“. This size is often referred to as a finger slice or coffee slice and is how your cake will be cut if you are serving guests later in the evening after the wedding breakfast.

If you would like to serve your cake as dessert for your guests, a larger portion size is more appropriate. A dessert portion is double the size of a finger slice and measures at approximately 1” x 2” x 5”. This provides a generous slice of cake that you would expect from a dessert.

The portion sizes mentioned above are ideal for most sponge cakes. However, if one of your tiers is a traditional fruit cake, this type of cake is cut into finger slices. This is because fruit cake is much more dense than a sponge cake, and so less is required to satisfy you and your guests.

The design of your cake will affect the number of portions that your cake will provide. For example, if your cake design includes a 6” double barrel tier (two tiers of cake decorated as one) it would produce double the amount of servings as a single 6” tier. Instead of serving 12 dessert portions, it would serve 24.

This portion guide shows how many servings each tier provides and will help you to reduce any wastage. It is also a helpful resource estimate how much cake you will need if you would like to keep the top tier for yourselves which many couples choose to do.

INVESTMENT

Designed to reflect your day, your style and your celebration

Your wedding cake is more than a dessert - it’s a carefully considered design that reflects your day, your style, and your celebration. Every tier, texture, and detail is created to feel effortless, elegant, and entirely yours.

I work with a limited number of couples each year to ensure every cake receives the attention it deserves, from our first conversation to the moment it’s placed at your venue.

Whether you choose a Signature, Tailored or Bespoke design, your investment will depend on factors such as size, design details, serving requirements and decorative elements.

I offer three design experiences, each reflecting a different approach to the creative process.

Most couples will invest from £850 - £1,000 for their wedding cake experience.

SIGNATURE

From £850

Refined cakes from my core collection, designed in my signature style and personalised to your wedding colours and aesthetic.

TAILORED

From £1,100

A more collaborative design process, where your cake is developed around your wedding styling, setting and details.

BESPOKE

From £1,700

A fully custom-designed cake created from scratch for your wedding, shaped around your venue, florals, fashion and overall concept.

What Shapes Your Investment

Your final price depends on:

  • number of tiers and portions

  • level of design detail

  • sugar flowers or additional finishes

  • delivery and setup location
