Meet Your Wedding Cake Designer - Bianca

I’m Bianca, the wedding cake designer behind Beez Cakes.

I design and create all of your cakes myself - from the initial design conversation through to baking, decorating, delivery, and setup on the day.

How It Started

I’ve been designing wedding cakes since 2013, creating classic, elegant cakes for couples who want something that feels special and personal to their day.

Before cakes, I was always creative - drawing, painting, and exploring anything visual. I originally studied Graphic Design, but I also spent a lot of time baking at home, mostly for fun (and for friends and family who were happy to taste test).

That combination of creativity and baking eventually came together when I was asked to make a friend’s wedding cake. It was a big learning curve, but I loved the process - and that was the moment everything shifted.

After that, I realised I could bring together the things I enjoyed most into one path, and Beez Cakes grew from there.

Learning & Development

I started as a self-taught baker with no formal training, and I’ve continued to build on that foundation over the years through courses, tutorials, practice, and ongoing learning.

I’m always working on improving my technique and refining my designs so I can keep creating cakes that feel considered, elegant, and well-made.

My Approach

My signature style is romantic and refined, with a focus on balanced composition, soft textures, and considered detail. I design cakes with a calm, understated approach, often incorporating floral elements in a natural, elegant way. I work with both fondant and ganache, choosing what best suits the design. Every cake is created to feel cohesive within your wedding, not separate from it.

For me, design is about judgement and restraint - knowing what to add, and just as importantly, what to leave out.

How I Work

Couples come to me for a cake that feels intentional, elegant, and thoughtfully designed for their wedding.

My role is to take your ideas, your venue, and your overall styling, and translate them into a cake that feels naturally at home within your celebration.

I focus on keeping the process clear, calm, and straightforward, so you always know what to expect from start to finish.

Experience

My work has been recognised within the wedding industry, including being a Regional Finalist at The Wedding Industry Awards and winning Best Wedding Cakes (South-East London) at the Hitched Wedding Awards.

I’ve also worked with couples celebrating across a wide range of venues in London and beyond.
