Your cake will usually be baked during the week of your wedding. If it is a fruit cake, preparation made to soak the fruits in alcohol will start much earlier - at least 6 weeks before.
Who and where will my cake be baked?
I bake all of the cakes that I am commissioned to do from my home kitchen in Peckham, South-East London
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. I am registered as a food business with the borough of Southwark and fully trained in Food Safety & Hygiene. I have been inspected by the Food Standards Agency and have been issued with the highest result for an inspection (please click here for further details). In addition, I have Public and Product Liability Insurance cover.
When is my cake deposit due and how much is it?
Your cake deposit is due within 7 days of receiving your deposit invoice. The deposit is £100 and non-refundable.
When does my cake order have to be paid in full?
Once you have paid your deposit of £100, the remaining balance will be due 4 weeks before the wedding.
What is your refund policy?
All deposits/ booking fees are non-refundable. All cancellations must be made in writing. A full refund will be issued for any money paid (except the deposit) if you cancel your order up to 4 weeks before the wedding.
